We know it can be difficult knowing where to start when it comes to mental health support. This is why we've created a list of wellness resources to make it easier to begin your journey of mental and emotional wellness. You may also use these resources to become more informed or help someone you know.
It includes a list of mental health resources with different Muslim organizations you can reach out to for help finding a therapist that suits your needs. It also has a list of helplines you can call or chat with for non-emergency mental health concerns you may be experiencing.
Lastly, there is a list of housing/shelter organizations that you can reach out to if you are in need of a place to stay.
We hope you are able to feel uplifted, supported, and empowered through this process. If you have any questions, please reach out to farah@nycmuslimcenter.org
